No place to hide for Arteta this season he has to come up with the goods
Former part-owner of Palace (he sold his share after the UEFA deadline) also owns a significant chunk of Lyon, and they both qualified for the Europa League. Lyon finished higher in their league so they get the Europa League spot, Palace go into the Conference. General idea behind the rule being that it stops clubs with the same owners manipulating results, for instance if they get drawn against each other and one team needs a certain result to get out of the group. Can anyone summarize the CP Europa league issue? I never saw what they did wrong?
Celtic were drawn in a group with RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg in the Europa League during Rodgers' first spell. Not totally sure on the technical explanation of when and where the rules apply though, because City and Girona were both in the Champions League last season and I'm guessing the Red Bull group would've had Leipzig and Salzburg in the same boat at some stage.
Don't tell this to Arsenal fans. They cant be expected to win it this season, the manager simply hasnt had enough time and the squad is still being built. No place to hide for Arteta this season he has to come up with the goods

As for West Ham and Spurs, counting European competitions Arsenal didn't qualify for due to exceeding the qualification criteria is a weird stick to beat him with.
It does not count. That was Emery's team.As have Arsenal, or does his FA Cup win not count for some reason?
Honestly think this can't be done with huge confidence until we know what happens Gueye and Isak from a Livepool POV, if those 2 are signed Liverpool win the league, if not then City.Alright prediction ladder
