Like Tongue has been ok but it's embarrassing how much better than anyone Atkinson has been in this test and he's been injured for ages.

That was plumb and India losing a review too, it looked like Duckett told him to tell his story walking, there is a lot of spice in this series.

Whatever it takes!!!
Seems Duckett was also caught on camera telling Akashdeep he cant get him out. I kinda understand the send off now but still think it could have been done better coz it just looked bad.

Very annoying that we keep losing wickets towards the end of a session. Having to send Akash in just further increases the chances of a batsman getting stranded.

Looks like you were right.

I don't really know why they put the graphic on tv if it's not actually the timer the umpire is using mind.

1-2 seconds here or there doesn't really matter. It's not an exact thing. The start of the countdown is a subjective matter. Umpires start at their convenience. It is important to remember, the timer was only brought in, so that teams didn't have time to get external help (eg from dressing room).

Ultimately the most important thing is to get a correct decision in the end.

The last bit your logic ain't really sound. As then why only have 3 reviews if it's as you say.

It's not an issue anyway as it was reviewed within the 10 secs.

We finally get a traditional Bazball innings from England:

- blast out of the gate
- momentum held for a while
- collapse and barely scrape past the opposition's score.

*Amended for accuracy - further point added*

- English fans then try to gaslight* us by insisting this pattern is all in our heads, and we've never really actually seen it before.

* By gaslight I actually mean they say something that is probably true because they said 'rarely happens' and not 'doesn't happen'.

It truly is a thing of beauty.
