Well, it definitely makes sense if people just, yk, don't rate Barry over Hobbs, Hutton, Gavaskar and Sutcliffe. That's 2 teams, then there's Grace for whom these arguments are significantly more applicable for, and Trumper for whom peer rep applies significantly more. So 4th team is about right.
Barry was easily more highly rated by pundits and peers alike than Sutcliffe during their respective careers.

It can be argued the same about Gavaskar as well, but not getting back into that argument with you.

But that aside, you're arguing quality, which is a fair argument.

It's the, he isn't eligible arguments that makes no sense.

But Sutcliffe had the better stats in both Test and FC.

Yk you ain't pulling the Gavaskar argument rn.

He is eligible, I just have him behind those 6.
