What if Sachin Tendulkar was born in England. Do you think he would have ended up with a better record?

Plays far less ODIs, so doesn't develop tennis elbow = no real slump (also better nutrition, fitness etc). Plays from 18-38, so avg won't be any less. People are assuming he will be the exact same player, doing great against certain opposition or less great against certain other opposition, no! Thats a product of where you grow up. Grows up against pace and swing bowling, becomes adept at playing in English conditions. So does great against pace, bounce and swing. But less great against spin.

He will cherish playing against teams with pacers, but slightly less keen playing against the likes of India and Sri Lanka (especially away).

He probably would have just fallen victim to the ingrained mediocrity which courses through the veins of all English cricketers tbh.

If Root averages 51 in England than I am quite sure someone like Tendulkar will averages at least 53.

There is a big difference in talent between these two batters.
