3rd Test (Lord’s) - 10 July to 14 July

honestly hard to criticise pant and rahul given the first innings runs but their dismissals in the first dig really let them back in to the game, both of them unnecessary in the highest - great effort with the ball from stokes and archer this morning all the same though, just have not let up
You can critic them. They were found wanting in a pressure situation. Mind****s the both of them

Whatever it takes!!!
This has been amazing from England and esp. Jofra Archer, CArse and STokes. Absolutely gave it their all and got more out of this wicket when there seemed to be none.

We let our advantage slip again by getting bowled out for virtually no score from 374/6. We should have taken a 50 run lead and that would have changed a lot about this chase. But England landed a few more punches than we did when it mattered and that is the game.

Been a great series tbf. Every game has gone into the last day with both teams a chance to win (ok, at Edgbaston it was more likely a draw or India win). But it was been fun viewing and it has put a lot of pressure on both teams. England have definitely had more in the tank over the last 3 days than we did and that is why they are the winners here.

Stokes and Archer sledging the **** out of NKR. They know game is virtually over with this 1 wicket.

I think Ind have been passive and seem not to have a plan on how to go about the chase. At the same time the bowlers have been superb.

England are well on top, they may win by close to a hundred runs this morning.

That ****ing run out changed everything.
If I were Indian, I'd be quite annoyed by Nair last night, he started nicely but started to look towards the clock and batted very meekly, they couldn't afford to be 4 down last night.

Why'd they send Washington ahead of Reddy?
Coz he can defend better. That was an all timer of a catch by Jofra though. This has just been a perfect little session for England, everything they have touched has turned to gold. When its the deciding session of the test, that is always handy. :)

And inspite of the obviously false moaning by moanhill and jerking by tjb, I think the injury to Pant has cost us quite a bit in this test. For starters, there would have been fewer byes and legbyes down the legside as he is especially good at cutting those off and there would have obviously been more runs.

That said, I think we lost the game when we did not bat for a big enough lead in the first dig (the Pant run out and the Rahul wicket were needless and our tail was blown away without a fight too, Akash's shot esp. stupid). And England won the game by really being pumped up in this last innings, much like the 2021 test and really getting everything on the deck.
