Let’s do it. Ashwin was the senior pro and lead spinner when they played together but Jadeja was the reason team India threw him out of the team in SENA.

Ashwin has retired and Jadeja is still going strong. Who is a better test cricketer for India?

I like how the result is different every time.

Jadeja is better than Ashwin tbh
to follow up on this, this series and BGT have shown even overseas Jadeja is a valuable cricketer because of what he brings with the bat and the field while Ashwin completely faded overseas and played the role of a defense bowler and rarely had this level of consistent output with the bat.

I agree that Jadeja is testing my prejudices against him as a bits and pieces cricketer. He’s Imran Khan quality at home and Ben Stokes quality abroad. That’s something.

Jadeja didn't really do much in BGT

Ok. But to me this is the first series abroad that he consistently done well with the bat. In fact it's his first series abroad he has scored more than one 50 plus score.
He doesn't play that much overseas, and mostly gets rotated around, in last 10 years his overseas average is 44 and even if you remove this series, he makes a fifty every fourth innings, that's pretty good.
