2nd Test (Edgbaston) - July 2nd

GRAB

State Regular
Salisbury played 15 test. So yes, technically two fewer than Bashir. Pat Symcox has a strike rate of nearly 3 figures and took less than 2 sticks a match.

Yeah I wouldn’t class Paul Harris with these blokes. Harris played parts in some important SA wins at home and abroad. Lost it at the end but he was boring, whereas Bashir seems very all over the place.
Pretty sure Paul Harris was ranked in the Top 10 test bowlers at one point...

England would kill for the WI bowling attack, let alone Australia’s.

They won’t be getting made to measure featherbeds either. It’s going to be a very sobering experience.
England could improve their bowling attack if they stop picking players on speed only instead of skill and accuracy...

Cricketer Of The Year
What if his admitted birthday is still off, like Waqar Younis' seems to be?
The interview is from 2+ years ago. I doubt he was lying. He didn't know he'd be such a sensation now. It was such a low key interview.

He flat out denies being anything other than 14 now.

So he said he was 14 then? And has started using the Rashid Khan calendar? (IIRC Rashid started very early)

Darwin Award

State 12th Man
Has Atherton ever said a word in anger or behaved in a harsh manner? Man is just zen and chill allround.
Didn't he get angry or show some emotion when he was run out against Australia on 99 at Lords going for that 3rd run.

I'd imagine in the dressing room shortly after you might have seen a different side to him.
