What's Harris' record like against everyone other than England away?
I may be wrong but I feel like he is normally given a go away in England then dropped after a couple tests.

He's the only up-and-coming bat to average about 50 at Shield level. In comparison Marsh never averaged much above 30.

One question I have is why our batsmen often seem to get technically worse after going into the test team. The hands-off attitude is the rule (we didn't even have a batting coach for a bit) but I don't think it's working at the moment. Certainly didn't help Marnus.

There’s a massive jump in quality between fc and some test cricket and top bowlers have the ability to expose technical weaknesses that have always been there

Carey is now Australia's leading run scorer for 2025. 425 runs at 60.71. Decent for a guy who also manages to get bowled 27% of the time.

Webster is such a gem. Wild to remember just how bad Marsh had to be for him to even get a chance.

Not really plus you have to factor in the mental aspect

Marnus has adopted survival mode which makes him look worse

Compare him to Travis who basically plays the same way all the time

How does one play 100 tests and be so mediocre? I mean at what point do the selectors decide enough is enough.
