There is definitely some double standards in WI selection, maybe tribalism ..

Guyana players seem to be given less time to be in the team , Amir Jangoo was given a handful of tests then dropped ..Motie has a bowling average of 27 but doesn't even make the squad..


Tagenarine ain't as bad as Louis/Campbell but they couldn't wait to drop him ..

Konstas doing a lot of heavy lifting, Smith would play if available, Woakes won’t play Ashes. It’ll be a bigger difference come November.

Woakes wont make it into the XI for the Ashes in Aus. Woakes isnt suited to Aus conditions. Will be Gus, Potts if they can get fit. Average age closer to 27 then as Woakes increases the average age a bit.

Pakistani pitches are rank turners these days. Going forward indian pitches would be normal pitches(day 1 swing and seam d2&3 batting and 4&5 spin)
