First few overs have been precarious for the West Indies. At this point, I'd rather they made some quick runs to get at least around 140-150, rather than falling in a ditch and being all out for about 100.

Carty and King looked very put together. Way better than some of the guys WI have fielded at No. 3 and No. 4. Pity about Carty's dismissal.

I agree, it was a promising stand in tricky conditions.

Having said that, Carty has a habit in fc cricket of looking good for 20 or 30 runs and then getting out. He was chosen ahead of Anderson, who is very solid and averages 45 in fc cricket. Personally, I would have picked Anderson instead, so I'm not sure how long they will give Carty to succeed.

Could King open? To me Campbell does not look a test player.

Honestly would Brandon King use a leave like that in ODI or T20 cricket?

I feel like some of these West Indian batters are better off playing their shots like what Cummins did , trying to play the defensive way against this quality on this pitch, I mean it's just wishful thinking ..
