Shardul Thakur in the team has turned out to be a disaster selection in hindsight

Kuldeep is India's best spinner and he can't get a game. We're too obsessed with batting depth to the point that we are compromising on the quality of our bowling

Kuldeep actually averages more with the bat in FC cricket than Shardul anyway lol. I don't think that's entirely reflective on their abilities but it does show there's not some massive gulf.

Hindsight is 50/50, but india definitely made the wrong decision re/kuldeep. Jadeja is getting some real turn, reckon he would have been a handful. On that note, is shardul even that much better from a batting perspective? Kuldeep averages 21 and has a fc ton, not like he can't bat.

Kuldeep is more of a #9 than a #8 and Shardul definitely can score far more runs as he has shown before in tests. Just think his pace, fitness and bowling have all fallen off a clip so early.
