Both teams were struggling for WC qualification I think. Does a 3-0 series win make it much more comfortable for England? Does 2-1 still make it squeaky bum time?

Unlike the World Test Championship points system, you could actually be forgiven for not having a Scooby Doo how this works! I know both teams are inside the cut-off because hosts South Africa are inside the top 8, so I’d imagine even a 2-1 would put us in a strong position

Gosh our bowling needs a complete rethink... that is putting it mildly.

Shamar needs to just focus on red ball cricket, he's not consistent enough for international T20 our 50 overs.

3-0 and easy..... We are back and we are not even close to the finished article

Fair enough. Yes our bowling is awful but I do think England's batting was very impressive. I'd be excited if I were an England fan.

I'm excited by our batting, which when everyone is available is pretty formidable to say the least. But we need to completely rethink our bowling, it is embarrassingly bad, Alzarri being the notable exception.

England were on 84 points at the start of the series, the Windies on 81, with Bangladesh on 76, according to the ICC rankings as of today (not sure if it's including today's result mind you), the Windies' gap over Bangladesh has tightened to a single point while we are now on 88 points
