I actually found McGrath in full flow quite pleasing to watch. Not all the time but there was a type of beauty in his simplicity.

You're clearly controlled by your emotions

1. This is true
2. The context of the conversation is before 1998, and therefore before all his great serieses at home. Until 1998. You got that buddy, until 1998, IE BEFORE HIS PRIME. until that time, he had played 6 games against India/Australia at home and averaged 43.
3. Nobody said Warne was successful against India.

Keep up with the conversation, I'm not gonna hold your finger through everything.
2. That is the self made context of yours, while no others see as such. We are considering their full careers in England, while you wanted to filter, re-filter the stats till it fits your narrative. But unfortunately it never happened.

you are finally going down the emotional guilt tripping route because you have run out of arguments. You need to be lot more creative about it.

2. No lmao, my discussion with Smali was how Murali would do in England if he toured in 1993. IE if he toured before Doosra or hitting his peak/improving, that's why it's limited to pre 1998 stuff.

I'm not guilt tripping you, if you're gonna quote a post I made while discussing with another user...atleast do the bare minimum and inform yourself what the discussion was about.

2. When he took that monster 16, he didn't had the doosra too. So what is your point?

2. He was rapidly improving as a bowler, he had dominated Zim at home, then dominated SA, then NZ before Oval 1998, clearly he was improving as a bowler.

Still it's just speculative. The available data suggests Murali dominated England than Warne, at any level or form of cricket.

Oh Wow, almost like the topic itself of what if Murali toured at place of Warne in 1993, requires us to be speculative.

The whole speculations were started, because Murali has better numbers than Warne. It is not even amusing.

I'm sure you also think Chris Broad was the greatest touring Batsman of Australia because "numbers" but people discuss beyond that for a reason.

I don't recall myself saying such a thing. You can give some examples where I have done.
On multiple occasions you’ve dismissed criticism of Murali’s game by saying that he didn’t have the doosra yet. So…

As far as I know what I said was Murali who was a good spinner became a the undoubted best after acquiring the doosra.

Murali pre 99 when he acquired the doosra was still a near worldclass spinner. Especially in SL. Ridiculous amounts of spin he could achieve
