Rank these ATG batsmen against spin

Lara
Sehwag

rest
Sehwag ahead of Lara for me. The only time Sehwag seem troubled by spin was when he didn't anticipate it well when stepping out of the crease and holed out.

Lara on the other hand, by his own admission struggled relatively against flatter spinners like Kumble, and to an extent, Saqlain. He would end up neither here nor there. He was better against spinners who flighted the delivery since his footwork was so exceptional.

Gavaskar had maybe the best defensive technique against spin.

Smith? On the other hand amongst Sachin, Smith and Gavaskar who was the best player of spin?

Sachin played the best spinners among these 3 and played them with grace, Smith ruled Ashwin/Jadeja in India in 2017 and Gavaskar was technically the most sound against spin, but probably faced the least challenge due to comparative lack of top class spinners in his era..... I would go:

Smith
Sachin
Gavaskar

And it's really close between all 3.

Sachin never seemed to be too troubled by spin, but never really dominated it except for that nineties series against Warne. Smith has high and lows. Gavaskar did well against all he faced but wasnt the dominant type.

I personally felt Sachin to be a better player of spin than pace.

Also, the consensus in CW is that Sachin is better than Lara overall. And in this thread, the consensus seems to be Lara is better at playing spin than Sachin. So, is Sachin a better player of pace than Lara the agreement?

Yes. Sachin is slightly better against pace. Lara had a problem with high pace. Tendulkar didn't have a particular problem with any form of bowling.

I would lump Sehwag, Sidhu, Azhar, Salim Malik and Miandad at the top.

Then comes Lara, Mahela, Younis Khan, Williamson, Kohli, Ponting, Tendulkar etc.

Dravid, Sanga, VVS, Kallis were pretty poor against spin.
So Kohli is that good against spin?(I am one of the biggest Kohli fanboys here btw)

Not only Kohli is good (like Brian Lara good) but so is Ricky Ponting; and VVS Laxman of all people is also a bad player of spin...... Basically, Ponting is a good player of spin comparable to Lara and Tendulkar; and Laxman alongside Dravid, Sangakkara and Kallis are poor against spin...... YEAHHHHHHH

Kohli is pretty good against spin, and so was Ponting. Just because he failed against Harbhajan doesn't make him bad. Lara also struggled mightily agains a certain Venky Raju who had his number. Dravid and Kallis both failed against two best spinners of the generation. Sanga was groping at Swann and Ashwin (although he was Ajmal's daddy). VVS was clueless against Mendis and Murali in that 2009 tour. There are much better players of spin in that Indian lineup than VVS.

Which tier are De Villiers, Root, and Chanderpaul in?

Great players of spin from my observations:
Lara, Sehwag, Kallicharan , Sidhu, Sir Javed, Smith etc

I have often held the opinion that Bradman's Achille's Heel was leg spin bowling. In 15 games against Grimmett he averaged 63.29 with Grimmett dismissing him 10 times. It may not be common knowledge, but leggie Eric Hollies said he was going to dismiss the Don with a wrong-un second ball. We know the history of that encounter.
If there is a cricketing heaven I want to see Bradman v Warne.
