What a **** day. South Africa in the scrums carbon copy of the France game. Opposition better team first 50, then SA's bench strength start mullering them in the contact battle. Proud of England. Absolutely outstanding effort. Couldn't really have played better. But SA are the best team in the world.

Obviously disappointing to lose, but hard to be upset at the team as a whole.

Everyone had us pegged to get absolutely smashed and we gave them an almighty tussle. Sure it wasn't pretty, but the points don't count for any more if they're pretty.
