For all the **** WWE (rightly) gets for how they handle aspects of their talent relations, there is absolutely no way in hell they would ever tolerate this sort of nonsense.

Seriously though, I doubt it will happen. I doubt Edge is interested from a wrestling PoV, and if money was his motivator then WWE would (as they did in the past) offer to beat anything AEW offered him.

Would still be fun to see though. An Edge and Christian reunion in AEW would be really cool.

Edit: That this was organised to annoy Punk, I mean. Apparently AEW didn't arrange a pick up for anyone, not just Punk.

Likely just a misunderstanding. WWE always do buses and stuff for European tours, while AEW will just treat the UK like the US or Canada, or any indie.

Few probably run into that assumption since they weren't top WWE people for a decade

I know it was pre AEW but I genuinely wonder if those UFC fights broke Punk. Like he always had this in him but getting absolutely humiliated twice in front of millions of people after years of grifting about being a tough guy, there's very few people that could go through that and it not affect them.

His work in AEW after that was very high quality for a while but yeah the humiliation might've ****ed him up mentally even more.

I'm still a mark for him though, hope he still ends up on tv somehow soon.
