9 for the seamers. Incredible. The biggest difference between the sides in this and the last home series imo.
what do you think the endgame is for pakistan at home here? like what sort of pitch would you prepare to play to the strengths of a fullstrength team

Few captains have had such a major immediate impact on their teams. Stokes will leave a storied legacy even though us nerds like to downplay how important captaincy is. Such an old school aggressive captain, you gotta love it.

Regular flat pitches that turn a bit. You have to be prepared for flat decks in Pakistan though so the pitch being batting friendly isn't so much a factor as the pace attack being foetal and Zahid Mahmood being the spinner. They're just too raw and no one knows how to dry up runs. The problem is the best bowlers not playing FC because of the leagues and T20 series. No wonder we have a dozen serviceable T20 quicks but almost no red ball ones. That needs to be addressed first and foremost. Every time a test series rolls around the selectors have nought to go by and scramble to draft a makeshift attack.

what would you say the full strength attack with everyone fit? i imagine that it'd be quite imposing if they could get the stars to proper align
