I did but would have liked to have tweaked them. Tbf those sort of conditions don't suit us at all, we really should have done better earlier in the cup stage.

Hacked out a two-wicket win in the SOD despite playing 3 crap players for IGT. Century-maker Shawn Dee having an absolute rockstar season opening in 1.1: second-most runs, with 661 at 55.08. AXI are still in the hunt, just.

So Not from the wrist batted first and amassed 282/8. This could have been a 300+ score, but excellent death bowling from Mark Jardine and Vethanayagam (the guy who came in for Gul) pulled things back in the end.

Veenstra’s 10 overs went for 80; wicketless.

Replying, the prolific Meyiwa spanked it in the power play…but he went too early. Veenstra had to stable the ship when the wickets were falling regularly. A lot of starts, double-figure scores but not enough…

Veenstra ran out of gas after facing 120 balls for 126 runs, and our tail-Enders had a little fun at the end slogging away. 11 run loss is heartbreaking but the opponent is much better than us. I still take this as a win for our team as we held firm and gave these guys a challenge.

After the end of the match, I’ve sent a friendly request/rematch to him but he’s yet to accept.

He sits atop the D3.3 SOD table with 55 points with an NRR of +2.82

Moooo are in second place with 50 points and the best NRR in the league…+3.57
