Whatever it takes!!!
Lol @ Lara and Sachin getting the same score first innings. Obviously Bradman and Sobers were the difference there IMO.

More in-depth look at state of play:

At the toss World XI A captain Bradman won and decided to bowl. XI B posted 397 in the first innings, a tad under par considering they where batting first on a pitch with no assistance for the bowlers starting out bar a little bit of turn initially. Session 1 belonged to XI B, with Lara and smith counterattacking after 2 early wickets and a drop of Lara on 12, smith finding things particularly easy as he cruised along at a SR of 80. B fought back in the second session, with Murali and McGrath taking xi B from 126/2 to 200/5 before knot and Hammond dug in and took them to 303/5 at the end of the day.

Hammond tried his best to get XI B to a good total with a score of 130, but the day really belonged to XI A, with Hadlee striking 2nd ball of the day and never looking back in 2 extremely good displays of pace bowling in the early half of the day. XI B found themselves all out for 397 at lunch day 2, with Hadlee claiming 5-100 and Murali supporting him well with 3-75.

XI B had brief flashes of hope as Imran and Ambrose took 2 quick wickets to remove the XI B openers, but Lara and Bradman where undeterred, digging in and taking their side to a commanding position of 181/2 at the end of the days play. Day 3 went much the same, with XI B racking up 300 runs for the loss of only 4 wickets, with their entire middle order all racking up scores of 70+. XI B declared at lunch on day 4 at 562/9, with hadlee and Marshall supporting sobers to his century with 30 a piece.

XI A batted well to tea on a pitch that was starting to bounce unevenly, Sutcliffe and Lara taking them to 79/1 after an early wicket. Hadlee and McGrath turned things back in XI B's favour, taking 3 wickets between them in the last session of day 4 as lara posted another 50 without converting to a larger score. One noteworthy occurrence was Lara being given not out to one that was later shown to be pitching in line and smashing the top of middle on 60. Never seen that before on cricket captain. Lara holed out of hadlee shortly after for 71, so made no real difference.

Knott and Hammond batted long and hard to survive to the brink of lunch on day 5 after Imran fell at the start of the day's play, before McGrath removed Hammond after his half century to bring XI A to the brink of victory. The tail offered no resistance in the face of some brutal bowling from McGrath and hadlee, the two taking all 10 wickets in the third innings.

XI A cruised to victory with a session and 8 wickets to spare, with Tendulkar in-particular playing some exquisite strokes to finish the game off. Hadlee was given MOTM for his impressive all-round effort's, and XI B went away from it all with some questions to ask about their bowling and lengthy tail.

Just another 30’s series, Bradman and Hammond dominating for their respective teams. Hammond’s team being slightly worse in batting and bowling support for the two stars checks out too.

More in-depth look at state of play:

At the toss XI A captain Bradman won and decided to bat. Hutton hobbs and bradman all fought hard but fell for under 30, and halfway into day 1 XI B felt they may finally be getting somewhere with XI A gone 114-3. Viv and Tendulkar ended that thought, adding 200 for the 4th wicket and taking XI to a dominant position of 275/3 at the end of day 1. Session 1 of day 2 was fairly boring, with viv and tendulkar both raising tons before viv fell and rain halted the rest of the session.

Warne and steyn dragged XI B back into the game, taking 5 wickets under clouds in the second session to reduce XI A to 437/9 despite a 50 from sobers and a dashing 22 from 14 from gilchrist. Sobers hit a few boundaries to take his total to 68 before lillee removed him with a searing bouncer, leaving XI A all out for 454 before rain saw the day ended short. Warne was the pick of the bowlers with 3-62, captain imran khan may have underbowled him a tad, the pacers where once again unimpressive.

Trumper and sutcliffe took their side to 106 at lunch on day 3, adding the first century opening stand of the series despite trumper being dropped on 37. Trumper kept on his merry way despite a quick burst from mcgrath seeing sutcliffe and lara back to the pavillion in quick succession. He found a solid partner in smith, who was once again swashbuckling at the other end as trumper bought up his 1st hundred of the series and took his side to 221/2 at tea. Sobers removed trumper shortly after tea before murali and hadlee got on a roll, taking 4 wickets between them and leaving XI B 322/7 at the end of the day despite another 50 from hammond.

XI B where bowled out for 399 just before lunch on day 4, with hammond adding 20 to his overnight total before marshall and mcgrath ripped through the tail. Steyn and ambrose had some fun, adding 29 for the last wicket before mcgrath ended the innings with ambrose 20* from 19. XI A came to tea day 4 70/2 following an enthralling battle between XI A's top 3 and lillee+ ambrose with the new ball. It took 20 overs for the top 3 of XI A to hit a boundary, with hobbs getting out in the process. Bradman fell shortly after tea for another uncharacteristicly low score, but hutton and tendulkar battled hard, taking XI B to 150/2 at the end of day 4.

Hobbs fell shortly after tendulkar brought up his second 50 of the match, viv and sobers brought some carribian flair to the innings, as they chased quick runs. Tendulkar fell the ball after his second century of the match, and XI B declared at lunch 315/6, giving XI A 2 innings to chase an imposing 300+ total, or more likely bat for the draw. What followed was nothing short of a masterclass in agressive batting from trumper. On a pitch that was turning sharply and bouncing unevenly he played with no fear, playing shots all over the wicket as he bought up his second century of the match and dragged his side to a comfortable draw, despite falling shortly before the draw. A tense 5 overs was cut short as rain came down once more and ended the match prematurely.

Some notable performances:

Trumper 128 and 103, very, very unlucky not to get MOTM.

Warne 5-140 across the match

Mcgrath 4-85 in the second innings

Viv 106 and 33

Sobers 68, 36* and 2 important wickets.

Poor performances:

Gilchrist 24 and 1.

Pacers bar Lillee and mcgrath

Lara 7 and 15.

Should squads be able to be changed in between series? Form doesn't carry over from one to another on cricket captain sadly, but feel like having 6/7 bowlers to pick from over 20 matches is a bit boring.

More in-depth look at state of play:

Imran won the toss and decided to bat. Due to the batter friendly nature of the first 2 matches, curators decided to make pitches more bowler friendly, green top used for this match.

2 changes for XI A: Roberts for marshal (Workload) and Cummins for Murali (conditions)

2 changes for XI B: Walsh for Lillie and pollock for steyn.

Scoring was slow in session 1, but Lara and Sutcliffe held firm and took XI B to 60/1 at lunch. Things got a move on in the second session, with Lara and Sutcliffe posting 50's before the latter was sent back for 63, went to tea 153/2. XI A came charging back into things after tea, with sobers removing smith and Hammond before hadlee unleashed a brutal display of fast bowling, decimating the lower order of XI B, they where all out for 243, with Lara top scoring at 83. XI A came out to bat and navigated the end of day 1 comfortably.

Hutton fell shortly after day 2 commenced, but Bradman and Hobbs dragged their side to 80/1 at lunch. Session 2 of day 2 was the most exciting of the match to date. There was exciting stroke play from viv and bradman, and fearsome bowling from imran and warne. XI A found themselves at 206/5 coming into tea, and where hoping they wouldn't collapse in a similiar manner to B in the first innings. Ambrose picked up sobers just after tea, and XI A where bowled out for 285 despite a solid rear-guard from gilchrist and hadlee. Imran picked up 5-fer, a welcome return after a poor series to date. Mcgrath got sutcliffe early, but trumper and lara carried on despite that, accumulating 44 in 8 overs and leaving the game evenly poised going into day 3.

Imran's team dominated day 3, accumulating 300 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Lara and trumper set the tone early, scoring 120 runs in the first session and losing no wickets. Trumper fell shortly after lunch, lara toned up and was sent back to the pavilion, hammond following 3 balls later. XI B went to tea 264/4, in a commanding position, but the 2 previous collapses definitely would have weighed on their minds. Smith didn't let that worry show in his batting, as he finally converted a start, ending the day on 97* with some solid support from imran and knott.

Day 4 started slow, with smith bringing up his century before rain came down and cut 15 overs from the session. XI B where bowled out for 513 thanks to a well earned 5fer from mcgrath, but XI B where all smiles as smith trudged back to the pavilion, having composed the highest score of the series, and hopefully won his side the game in the process. Hobbs and Hutton where rock solid for XI A as they batted the remaining session, taking XI A to 57/0 thanks to some bad light. Was a miracle draw possible?

That hope didn't remain for long, as Imran once again lead from the front, taking the much important wicket of hobbs a ball after knott did his best kamran akmal impression by dropping a straightforward chance of hutton. Imran would soon have hutton anyway, as XI A went to tea 152/4. The game ended shortly before tea, with XI A being bowled out for 280 as imran took a well deserved10fer despite another flashy batting display from the pair of hadlee and gilchrist.

Both teams would have alot to take from this game. The openers on both sides bar trumper have so far been solid without getting a score. Lara was once again impressive for XI B as smith found a second gear and Imran dominated with ball. XI A will be left with some question's, particularly around the exclusion of a fully fit murali, and the captain's recent series of 30's followed by a dumb shot.
