Inflexibility in certain things - e.g. not being able to just start earlier (when the weather is probably good) with so many overs lost.
You heard of T10?It is too long I feel. I was watching Hockey recently ( Olympics) . The duration was 1 hour and every minute was action packed. 90% of cricket matches lack such thrilling action imo.

The decimal point for progress of an over.I'd like it if economy rates were aligned with strike rates and if there was some kind of object held up to let you know when every 5 balls had been bowled.

I remember once trotting out of Lords at 7:40pm just after the minimum overs came in but with no cut off point. The Windies were quite happy to bowl the same over rate and stay out there all night.Truthfully, England being shyte.
Less parochially, it's the arcane rules about play having to end at X o'clock come what may even if the ground is bathed in bright sunshine and we're half a dozen overs short.
