This is St Lucia, by no means a slow wicket at all. It's the fastest deck in the Caribbean. WE just have McCoy and Bravo bowling high quality slower balls and I get the impression the Aussie batsmen have no clue how to deal with it. It will be interesting to see if they come up with a method in these last two matches.

The one who has surprised me is Finch. He should know how to handle skillful defensive bowling. But he has looked as clueless as any.
Finch is generally a negative unless he makes a big score as he’s a slow starter

It's a shame McCoy isn't fit to play, geez he is an absolute jet of a T20 bowler. His slower ball in particular looks incredibly hard to pick, and he lands it on a dime.

Why did Mitch Marsh just not walk after hitting that, he suppose to be a future Australia captain that not a good look

Fair effort by Australia to be 1/124 after 11 overs and not get close to 200.

Still, they're favourites to win this one.

Slippy has a point here, why don't we bring marsh back to the test team as captain when pain retires? He's making white ball runs, clearly good for a few in the test stuff!

On a more serious note, what has this series shown us? All we know is that marsh is good for runs @3, which wasn't a spot we really needed more competition for, our middle order is even more confused then normal aswell.

Wait, So after hety making a match winning 70 odd 2 games ago, they've dropped him, and kept spiceman in, who has done absolutely nothing for years? What the ****.

Hoping it means Hetmyer's spot is safe and see what Fletcher can do - but with Pollard and DJ Bravo to come in I'm unsure. If Russell stays fit and healthy I guess you can try and bank on 4 overs from him and Pollard combined and go with a lineup of Lewis, Simmons, Gayle, Hetmyer, Pooran, Pollard, Russell, Allen, DJ Bravo, Walsh Jr, McCoy.

But I think that runs the bowling a bit tight, a Russell injury from batting away from needing 4 overs from Pollard and turning to Gayle or Simmons out of force if one of other 4 bowlers go for big runs and don't bowl out their quota - against the best T20 sides I'm not sure about that. A big call to be made on the batting - perhaps it means Gayle opening presuming the call to drop him isn't made - you'd want to give him a run in that spot if that was what you were going to do though.

Does Dan Christian usually get a bowl within the first 6 overs? Based on the dross he served up, you'd rather Finch give himself a bowl.

That performance by Zampa at short fine leg should be the end of him. What a pathetic lack of effort on display there.
