Yep, fly 21 people all the way to England to go into 10 day quarantine before playing 6 limited over games in 12 days and then going into a 14 day quarantine back in Australia...given the weather it may be for only 3 days of cricket ;)

Respect to the Aussie players to put themselves through this for our enjoyment

Will marnus play for Glamorgan while over in England? He doesn't have an ipl contract and from recent interviews seems like he's dying to play any cricket he can.

Nice business jet chartered by the Aussies. Have to wonder why they all have masks on though since they are all in the same bubble?

Can we get this be stickied please?

First T20 practice matched played yesterday, washed out 2nd innings though. Finch and Warner 40's, Wade 36* off 18 balls before rain stopped it Meredith went for 18 off 11 balls, so Wade obviously liked him

Labuschagne and Sams at 5 and 6 didn't work out too well. 1 run between them as the Finch XI lost 7-38 in last 6 overs.

Marnus isn't a 20 over number 5/6. Why he's batting middle order in the warm-up game with Philippe at three when Philippe isn't going to bat above five if he plays is beyond me.

Not convinced by the idea of D/N ODI matches in Manchester in mid September. Potentially wasting the best of the day in autumn seems bonkers. With no spectators to consider just start at 11am and play on under lights until 9pm if necessary and with weather permitting.

I agree. No need for floodlit cricket in September, T20 finals will be interesting

I see that none of the England test players are playing the T20's vs Pakistan. Are they playing the T20's vs Australia? Is Stokes available or still in NZ?

I imagine Root, Butler and Stokes would walk into the T20 side but I can't see the squad published anywhere?

The two squads are in completely separate 'bubbles' for the whole summer and since Morgan is the LOI captain, it will almost certainly be the same squad vs Australia as in the T20s vs Pakistan
