If Malcolm Marshall had been Australian he wouldn't have made it past grade cricket, let alone displace any one of Gary Gilmore, Rodney Hogg, or Merv Hughes.

No discussion about Marshall failing to make the Australian side of his era should exclude the fact that Dave Gilbert and Simon Davis would both have been ahead of him.

Gary Gilmore was a decade earlier, so he would have kept Holding and Roberts out. It’s important to get these things right :ph34r:
