***Official*** India in Australia ODIs 2016

I like that squad. But can't they atleast not pick Smith for the t20s? It's a 20 over match and we have to endure watching Smith bat!? I just hope that Finch and Warner never get out.
Smith and Warner are only going to play in the first T20I. It means that everyone from our typical Test team (apart from Lyon) can have a bit of rest before the ODIs in NZ/Shield round starts again on Feb 3.

8-) beating up weaklings? Like teams who can last more than 20 overs in seaming conditions or bat more than 100 balls when the ball turns?
You'd think those sides would go even better when it's flat and the ball doesn't move then :)

I think sometimes players need to adopt the Allan Border (Long May He Reign Over Us) approach to these things, and pick a fight with someone on the field to motivate themselves. It works.

The stump mics didn't catch it. Said smth tho, then came the 'we're having fun' thing from Faulkner, then Kohli's response.
So you also do not know if or what Faulkner said, you don't know if Faulkner was talking to a teammate, Kholi, the umpire or even himself.

It doesent matter one way or another but it just fun when a story is created by the media and readers take it a gospel. Headlines make great clickbait.

What your stupid condescending, no-iota-of-facts posts do to most of the forum, btw...
might have a bit more weight if your responses weren't all complete idiotic rubbish to my 100% factual and intelligent posts. If you want to have a go at me at least weight until I say something incorrect otherwise you're just embarrassing yourself.

Anyway everyone knows both Faulkner and Kohli are cheeky ****s, not sure why it's a big deal who "started" it

Whatever it takes!!!
I don't control the media, I just think that they are quick to try and make the Aussies the big meanies who are beating up on the mild mannered opposition.

WTF you are going on about I don't know but carry on it looks fascinating. :)

Sure that is wat you said in your original post.. FAscinate urself all you want.. 8-) :)

Of all the various series which are discussed on here, none has more confected outrage than Australia v India. I think it stems back from the heady days of the Sydney test in 2008(?) when there actually was something worth arguing about.

But this is seriously nothing. It's really on the level of the Jimmy Ormand-Mark Waugh thing on the sledging scale: reasonably funny but hardly earth shattering in its importance to relations between the sides. It's a non-event isn't it?

regardless of what thread it is I don't see what people get out of trying to insult other posters and just making themselves look like idiots.

I honestly want to know what they think they have to gain

Thing is Burgey, no one is even arguing till the #Ozisgreatallelsesucks brigade got on it and tried to paint a picture of it being Kohli sledging without even watching the game or an idea of the context. This is nothing. It is just banter really and Oz are kicking us so hard anyways this series they wont even remember this happened. It is just a funny addition to the various cricket banter video lists, is all...

Just stick to the cricket, you and THB need to stop getting personal.
I've never seen either of them post anything constructive

hb in particular seems to just go into threads and verbally attack people I feel like I should be helping him

So its not just posting about cricket without watching it, it is posting about posters without reading their posts too.. Awesome. Carry on then. :)

Yeah, this. It's just a sort of decent burn by Kohli that neither side particularly cared about.

Yeah I literally thought he would bring up Weaselman's drunk driving escapades which would have actually been a pretty good burn. Anyway, someone should hire me as a specialist sledge-writer.
