Nothing more humiliating and annoying then being hit for a six and there being a delay while they try and find and retrieve the ball.
Played in a semi in 92/93 where a bloke in our side turned up wired on speed. He came in at 3/30 odd against the top side. A leggie bowled him a quicker one which he straight drove for six over a factory which was behind the ground into the next street and they went and got the ball in a car. That was pretty humiliating for the bowler.

He made 138 off about 70 balls then came out the next day and took a 5 fer.

Fortunately there wasn't any random drug testing and he was available for the gf the next week too.

Actually maybe Birt isn't so concrete there. Strong team if you ask this player.

I thought they were pals from his Qld days, and he was trying to put some banter out but was too dumb for it to make any sense.

The thing about Dunk is that I'm pretty sure he's done all his damage in domestic cricket across all formats as an opener. He's had a few cracks in various sides in both T20 and OD cricket down the order with very little success, I believe. I've not actually checked this as such so I could be wrong, but the feeling I've got following his career and indeed even just watching him is that he really enjoys the pace on the ball and the field up he gets when he opens.

I'm not sure he'd have much success down at 7 and he's not as good with the gloves as Haddin or Paine either.

gulbis is a ****ing handy cricketer, he's quite sharp with the ball and can give it a hit. wouldn't be the worst option to bat at 6 for australia in t20s if maxwell dies

will be so so so angry if the heat chased this
Yeah I've said a few times that the only thing I really care about this season is the Heat not making the top four. Despite playing like crap for most of the season, here they are again in their last game of the season with a chance to make a fluky late run into the top four. I'll rage quit following the BBL at all if they manage to win this and then make the final as well.

Queensland cricket teams are just about the most annoying thing in sport right now; at least I can respect the Queensland rugby league side for actually having fielding a good set of players at the moment.
