Maqsood has looked class on this tour; absolutely awesome List A record too (First Class record none too shabby either) so he should be an absolutely lock in the ODI side in the short term.

Pakistan have been choking for a LONG time. The only problem is that South Africa end up doing it in major tournaments and in the final stages. Otherwise Pakistan choke far more often than SA.

In fact Pakistan is one of the worst teams under pressure

They do neither, they're just not very good.
Yes. Choking means getting into strong positions to win and then losing the match from there. Pakistan invariably lose early wickets these days, much like India of the Azhar times, so their losses cannot be considered choking..

Pakistan choke and frankly speaking they choke against SA very frequently. One of my most painful memories is the 99 WC super six match against SA. Would that be classified as a choke?

But people do have a point. Pak are not that good to begin with.

Yeah.Just change the location, reverse Pakistan and SA's names in the title and we're good to go.

Irfan not being in the squad is going to suck though. This means that **** Sohail Tanvir will almost certainly play all 5 matches.

When is Gul coming back from Injury btw? He's been out for a while now.
