Glacial pace this from NZ U19. Best batsman (Young) went early so looks like the rest are just focused on batting through the overs and backing the bowlers to knock over Afghanistan for 120-150.

Afghanistan are going to do this if NZ aren't careful - 61 needed from 66 balls with 4 wickets in hand. Would be nice for Afghanistan 'n all but we don't want to be on the wrong end of this.

The India Zimbabwe match is possibly turning in to a classic. Malcolm Lake is playing brilliantly and almost single handedly taking the fight to India. His attitude reminds me a lot of Andy Flower.

Australia crawled to a win over Ireland.

Dockrell's figures:
1/10 (10) with 6 maidens.

Far effort from Lake. Was batting 7 in the recent series against RSA and this is how he fared in his last 9 innings – 0, 6, 7, 8, 15, 9, 18, 7, 1.

de Kock will be disappointed, should have had back-to-back hundreds.

Afghans need 1 big over.

Good chance we're watching the second Test player from this U19 World Cup right now. Why was Lake the fifth bowler though? Strategy or really pedestrian medium pace?

Mindful of this recent tie, I think Pakistan would probably take the Windies instead of India in a knockout game if they had the choice.

Could they actually play badly or lazily enough to tank to this Kiwi side without being ejected from the event might be a good point, Chinese and Korean badminton-style.

Best action from today to make a couple of clips from, anyone? Seems quite a bit to choose from.
