ODI Tri-Series Final vs India
CW made three changes for the final, recalling opening bowlers Phlegm and Capone for Noble and Clark. Ikram also returned in place of Ballich, the hosts aiming to step up their scoring rate and take advantage of a dusty surface with an extra spin option.
India won the toss and batted first. With both openers in an aggressive mood, Inida looked to be scoring freely, putting on 60 for the first 10 overs. The tourist were pegged back as Winne dismissed Sehwag for 19 and Gambhir fell to Phlegm for 30.
Spinners Hing and Corrin soon restricted the scoring, but more importantly made timely breakthroughs to down the impressive Indian middle order. Two wickets apiece had India reeling at 100/6 in the 21st over.
Kambli and Harbhajan looked to consolidate, but their painstaking 55-run, 19-over stand was undone when Kambli was run out. Ikram was then rewarded for 9 tight overs with the wickets of Harbhajan and Gagandeep Singh. When Winne took the final wicket of Hirwani, the Indians had subsided to 173 all out.
The chase started confidently, despite Narang falling for 16, with a 67 run partnership between Heads and Dharan. However, after a middle-overs stutter that saw Heads caught at slip and Dharan bowled - played on with a poor shot - Spark and Riley took no risks to see their side home with four overs to spare.

1st Test vs Bangladesh
Bangladesh arrived in CWland for a two-test series, the hosts looking to keep up their winning start and avoid the potential banana skin posed by the Bangladeshis. Riley, Clark and Noble were all ruled out of the first Test with injury.
Playing XI: REMOVED, Heads, Narang, Ballich, Spark, Dharan, Winne, Hing, Capone, Dean, Dong.
CW won the toss and bowled first, and the decision was quickly vindicated as Dong got amongst the aggressive but impatient Bangladeshi batting. The seamer picked up Omar, Iqbal and Ahmed in his opening spell, the latter with a superb yorker as the visitors were reduced to 64/3, and Hing then bowled Saleh with the final delivery before lunch.
Capone took his turn to get among the wickets in the afternoon session with three wickets in six overs. When Dean and Dong took a further wicket each just before the break, Bangladesh went to tea on 204/9, and Winne bowled Mortaza soon after to end the innings.
CW's innings started with the early wicket of Heads, but REMOVED and Narang built a partnership of 89 before stumps. REMOVED brought up his 50 just before the close, the hosts having completed an excellent day on 93/1.
REMOVED was dismissed the following morning for 66 and Spark followed soon after, but Narang and Ballich compiled a steady partnership to give CW the lead. Bangladesh kept a check on the innings by removing both in the afternoon, but Dharan (86) and Winne (56) soon brought the match firmly under the control of the hosts.
Hing brought up the 400 just in time for the close, but the tail was silenced quickly on the third morning, CW all out for 426 and a lead of 216. Bangladesh's reply began confidently, constructing their first sizeable partnership of the match as the openers put on 71, but Hing was brought on for the final over before lunch and got the breakthrough.
Rain curtailed much of the second session but CW still found the time to chip away, Dean picking up three wickets for 17 runs in the half hour before tea. Rain then intervened again, Bangladesh having slipped to 121/4 at stumps.
Capone found some movement with the old ball to claim two more in the morning, and at 149/6 the visitors seemed out of it. The bowlers did run into a dogged 7th-wicket 50 partnership, and one that became even more frustrated as Winne had to leave the field with an injury.
When Dong and Capone took the new ball and dismissed both set batsman, the resistance ended. The spinners finished off Bangladesh's tail and the target was a mere 16 runs, knocked off with ease by Heads and REMOVED.
