This isn't intended to be a criticism - if anything it's testament to the quality of debate you get on here - but, as well written as the piece is, there's nothing in it that hasn't really been said on here since the Ashes, and a lot of your essay states the bleeding obvious.

Although maybe that in itself is a thinly veiled criticism of Cricket Australia.

Having read that, I say it is very good howardj, and you should seriously consider contacting CA with it.

Knowing CA however, they'll probably just throw it away.

More seriously, whilst it's difficult to argue with this the fact that for the most part we've heard it before, it does represent a fairly outstanding compilation of the various arguments and proposals put forth here as well as howardj's (whether deliberate or not I don't know). Definitely worth getting a proper edit and sending to the CA panel, the CA board, Clarke himself, whoever important in CA you can contact.

Maybe you should also mention Clarke being picked half-fit and under prepared for Brisbane.
