Clarke is not picking up length early at all. Even against Swann he's not nearly as quick as he normally is.

Clarke dealt with it in a way that would suggest he's sore. He never got down. It won't be the only thing but i'm sure it's a big part of it.

People should learn from Hussey here. Not saying he will score a big one, but nevertheless playing aggressively on these kind of pitches is clearly the better option. Staying around too long and an inevitably a wicket ball will come.

Yeah agreed, not even so crazy, s/r of 65. Puts England on the backfoot and keeps things ticking, moving towards the English score.
