Thanks for this.

Not sure that 1-48 in one match and 1-44 in another reallly qualify as all-round performances though?

I agree, however it was either add the best result or leave it blank

Edit: I did another search and Ken Mackay and Trumble have better allrounder performance than Mark Waugh (I had previosuly set the search for min 100 runs)

I would lower the batting cutoff to 50 runs and increase the bowling cutoff to three wickets (which conveniently allows Warne's 50 runs and 10 wickets at Edgbaston to qualify).

Agreed - also means that Miller qualifies for Lord's with 58 runs and 10-152.

Yes I've now added that and also added WK highest scores....no surprise that Ames, Stewart, Knott and Gilchrist appear, however it was also nice to see Healy there

That has to go down as one of the most amazing sporting performances of all time. The average is even more amazing when you factor in that he didn't get any not-outs, making the average a real runs per innings job. The bloke was a total freak.

Some of them do look pretty beatable though ... I'll be keeping an eye on those.

I think 'Tim Evans' should be Godfrey, btw.

Pietersen will blow that one out the water tbh

I'm looking forward very much to your posts in the early hours of tomorrow morning when the booze has really started to kick in.

[Cut to GIMH slumped at his computer in a pool of bodily fluids at 11.30am tomorrow, TV still tuned to ESPN Classic]

Whisper it quietly, but the wicketkeeping records may be at risk from both Haddin and (gasp!) Prior.

Geoff Boycott made 191 at Headingley in 1977, I remember it well (it was his 100th f-c 100 for good measure). He only batted once, so the Butcher match record isn't affected.
