assuagingNot with the current stupid schedule it's not, but there would be many benefits of assauging said schedule, the eradication of lost time being one of them.
Had never heard of it tbh. You spelt it wrong too
Good chapYeah, got the "a" and the "u" the wrong way around. Corrected it now mind.
Oh right, never knew that, that's a shame, only remember them being used once here, in a day\night women's ODI. More objection from the TV producers than the batsmen.Tired orange balls in Shield Cricket in Australia. Weren't too successful, from memory swung a mile and where hard to see under lights.
That's right. In the mid 1990's they played a number of day-night shield games with orange balls.Tired orange balls in Shield Cricket in Australia. Weren't too successful, from memory swung a mile and where hard to see under lights.
I cannot watch 5 days of test cricket all day. If I had that much time during the day, I would rather go on a holiday with family or friends.
Given that you are jobless, you can obviously do both, watch 5 days of test cricket and spend time with your friends and family. Even when you have a job, you can spend time with your dad while watching test cricket as your dad loves cricket too.. No one in my family apart from me loves cricket like I do though (a tad weird for an Indian family) and so can't do all. Family and friends are always more important than test cricket, as good as test cricket is.
Dire.Family and friends are always more important than test cricket, as good as test cricket is.
Well I don't intend on being so forever.Given that you are jobless, you can obviously do both, watch 5 days of test cricket and spend time with your friends and family.
Of course they are. I can't really have any idea what a non-cricket-loving family is like TBH, but I'd never even thought about it before.Even when you have a job, you can spend time with your dad while watching test cricket as your dad loves cricket too.. Yeah didn't mean it in a bad way. I explored when you are not jobless too to show how your scenarios are different to mine.Well I don't intend on being so forever.Nor have I always been TBH.
I see. Holidays with friends/family are always quality time spent with them for me personally and we try to do it whenever the opportunities arise.Of course they are. I can't really have any idea what a non-cricket-loving family is like TBH, but I'd never even thought about it before.
My :-O might have come accross a bit different to how I intended it BTW - wasn't saying there was anything wrong with placing family > cricket or anything, was mainly the "holiday" part. I haven't been on holiday with the family for over 6 years now.![]()
