The CW awards?

Yeah, it has, but I could forgive you, not always been 100% around, missing it.

Basically, the Awards are on hiatus at the current time. There were a few reasons for this: I felt they were not as vibrant and relished as they once were; several prominent posters agreed; several members of the Awards Panel had to take breaks anyway; so we decided it'd be a good idea to give the whole thing a rest for a time.

They'll be back as and when we can re-assemble an Awards team and when I feel the hunger has returned. It will be put to the poll, probably sometime in the New Year. I hope most of the old team (Manju, Akhil, Heath, Blake and Ethan - who was on for a whole 1 week) will be able to resume their positions. I know beyond a doubt Sean will be happy whenever they make a return, as the whole thing was his idea ITFP.

Not Terrible
It was a shame because I remember having two skull worthy posts. And I really can't remember what they were for.

I am just wondering who made you the official spokesperson of CW awards ?

Awards left their charm and their credibility after a certain individual hacked the awards .

After that people had no motivation left to continue and hence they left one after another and no one new came up and that is such a shame because it used to be fun once in a while.

Me.

They didn't, really, although some would like it if someone had.

BTW, I've reported this post as yet another example of &^%$-stirring.

@Richard - And you certainly have the right to do so, if you feel I was stirring the pot.

While I don't think the post was worthy of reporting, I do believe someone should be allowed to answer a question without getting flamed with words like "Since when have you ever been the official spokesperson?" etc etc. Uncalled for IMO

Ofcourse and I have no problem with it. The only reason I put up that question was because of the following response from Richard :- "..I felt they were not as vibrant and....They'll be back as and when we can re-assemble an Awards team and when I feel the hunger has returned..."

The General tone of the response was very close to what was discused Here.

It is fine with me if someone wants to be all in all of the CW Awards, but at least accept your responsibility and say that you failed to manage it.

It looks to me in that link that Richard said the wrong words for what he was trying to say. I think he meant 'involve me." However I do see your point now you showed that link and yes, I will admit Richard can be a bit of a control freak at times. However I still highly respect him on this forum and believe his hearts in the right place. I do see the point now though.

Geez, never thought this thread of mine would cause so much trouble.
