Anyone want Malinga Bandara, pretty good spin bowler in ODIs and has potential in Test if given a chance. Looking in the direction of South Africa, West Indies or Australia. Looking for a seam bowling all rounder or specialist seamer in return. Uh Shane Watson for Bandara anyone? Nel for Bandara? Hall for Bandara (were not too picky)

Yeah, he's definitely a better batsman than Maharoof, so you could pick him at 7 then play two spinners. Well, you could have if you didn't just trade your second spinner away!

They would play four seamers anyway, i guess i need to trade someone else to replace the 4th seamer or maybe we could play Hopes at 8 and play 7 batsmen. Nah Nissanka back, give him 6 months and he'll be in the national teams again.

Vaas, Malinga, Nissanka, Hopes and Murali doesn't look bad.

They would play four seamers anyway, i guess i need to trade someone else to replace the 4th seamer or maybe we could play Hopes at 8 and play 7 batsmen. Nah Nissanka back, give him 6 months and he'll be in the national teams again.

I'd play Hopes and Chandana in the one day team. That could work.

Lokuarachchi has jumped ahead of Chandana these days, he been performing quite well in domestic cricket. He would be next in line after Bandara. Chandana is past it really, he had a short 18 months were he was in form, but that was about it. His was never really that good overall.

Considering their both injury prone and Atapattu nearing the end of his career, i think thats a fair deal.

These side doesn't look that bad, pretty balanced really:

ODI: Jayasuriya, Tharanga, Sangakkara (wk), Jayawardene (c), Silva, Hopes, Kapugedera, Vaas, Murali, Shoaib, Malinga

Tests: Jayasuriya, Tharanga, Jayawardene (c), Sangakkara (wk), Silva, Hopes, Kapugedera, Vaas, Murali, Shoaib, Malinga

Would rather a better all rounder and a less injury and suspension prone seamer. But its got potential.

Atapattu would play more matches in the next two seasons, then Shoiab in the next five seasons...

I wouldn't trade Asif for any player in the world. Literally, not a single player in the world would be worth that trade. Most of the people who are better are nearing the end of their career while Asif is only 25. It would be a ridiculous trade and Pakistan would invariably be on the short end of that stick.
