Been modding the crap out of FM08, proper logos and facepacks etc. Makes it much more enjoyable, for me anyway. Downloading the new patch now, hopefully it makes the gameplay better.

    Code:
    47.3 W Coppinger to Heads
Smacked the ball straight into the groin of Iwuajoku who has fallen over,
miraculously with the ball still caught in his scrotal area! Out!

Where does one find such mods? Makes it more enjoyable for me as well (when playing with a team with logos, kits etc.)

    http://www.sortitoutsi.net/

The forum there gives good guides on how to install them properly as well.

Yes, this was recognised as a bug of sorts, don't know whether the patch has improved it at all.

Do you need to have the 8.0.1 patch for the 8.0.2 patch to work?

No - all 8.0.1. modifications are also included in the 8.0.2. file.

seems to be ok for me tbh, not noticed any really high scoring games at all so far from the half season that I have played, highest scoring game was a 3-1 defeat I think, so far to all intents and purposes the new patch seems pretty good, not sure what a lot of people are moaning about.

One ridiculously stupid thing that was somehow overlooked was the "spurs get paid 5m for every game defoe plays for pompey" error, good job that can be fixed on the editor, otherwises spurs will end up mega rich on everyones game...and pompey mega poor...

hmmm, having looked on the SI forums, I really am surprised at the amount of high scoring games people seem to have....since the beta patch has come out this isnt something I have noticed much at all, I have had plenty of low scoring games, plenty finishing 1-0 or 2-1 and 0-0, my defence whilst being good is hardly the best in the game (though my goalkeeper is perhaps the best...and has been on great form), though its not perfect i'm still of the opinion that it is much improved, and perfectly playable.. that said I have only completed about half a season...but I dont get what a lot of people are whinging about.

Oh that's there....Will have to do that. Haven't played a match yet, first friendly is in a few days and trying to bolster the double winning squad. Also means I won't get to have seven subs until 2009/2010. Sucks cause my squad is big and have some players who've come back from loan who deserve a go. Don't want to sell them either plus me buying other young players plus Rafael and Fabio coming in a few days.

Ffs just been knocked out in the CL quarters by the Scousers despite battering them. This is a bit annoying as I want to win the CL before returning to 08. The league is becoming simple - United have run into a spot of poor form.

I remember on CM01/02 the team that won the champs league was usually the team that had crespo, or his regen. That was my one gripe with that game, there were too many players who were ridiculously good, raul, christian vieri and crespo would score 40+ goals a season on a regular basis.

So Andriy Shevchenko is out for 6months in my game just before the first season started.
Have 9.5Million Pounds to buy someone to cover him.
Scott Sinclair, Didiler Drogba and Nicolas Anelka are my only strikers I have (rest on loan)

I'm happy with Didiler Drogba and Nicolas Anelka but dunno if Sinclair is good enough yet. Any suggestions?
