Unfortunately didn't see the match but thats a sensational result for Otago. I note Mark Anscombe made considerable changes to the (near full strength) side that faced Canterbury on the weekend so I do wonder whether that was a blunder.

Pretty impressive win from Taranaki tonight, Waikato dominated early like they did against Southland last week, but were run over in the second half. And...somehow Heath managed to tip it.

Was nearly bang on the margin before that last minute try. Brendan Leonard's not looking the player he once was. Some really atrocious passing in the last 15 minutes from him cost Waikato some good attacking opportunities.
