why u mad tho

that's all he has to do btw. we all know he's got the Schleck's covered in the TT and he's probably on par with Contador there...and he's already got a minute over him.

Yeah, I realise that, and that he's doing it because it's all he needs to do to win.

But it's not as interesting as when there are attacks everywhere.

Am I the only one that gets annoyed/cringes at how close the crowds get on the mountain stages? Honestly wish they'd use more barriers, don't want an otherwise exciting race ruined by some loon who trips whilst running along in his g-string. Would only take one of the crowd to stumble to cause a problem

Hakon, what's the lowdown on Vanendert?
Always been a talent with decent, not spectacular youth results (that tends to be the case with climbers, the youth races are too flat for them). Quite a few injuries: at Dauphine Libere 2008 he crashed at a descent, breaking his pelvis, and he had knee pains all 2010 due to a crash in a sprint in Andalucia in February, which he described as the worst of his career.

Started the season well as domestique for Gilbert in the hilly classics, with 13th, 17th, 6th while Gilbert destroyed the field.

Also, agree with Clapo. Though suspect pulling the barriers further down will only push the madmen down too.

Thirdly, Evans the clear favourite at this stage.

How come you get people like Rigoberto Uran just randomly keeping up with the best climbers in the world over a properly hard stage and then just hearing nothing about them ever again? Might be a slight exaggeration, but point still stands.

also Cadel. Another great ride from him.

Don't think Thor was in front any of the last 40ks...doesn't matter but profited from a good team and Edvald today.

Was a good ride by Cadel, but not 100% sure he can win it.

Heard the commentators saying something like "People wanted him to attack, and he is doing it." Yeah, down a hill. Wont be expecting him to win until he attacks in the mountains, which I dont think he can do.

Nice to see Andy made every excuse under the sun for not doing well. Had a whinge about the 'dangerous' finish. No, you just suck at descending, take a few lessons from Evans and Hushovd on how to do that.

From being in a bigger group, by the looks of things. Cadel is looking very good now, it has to be said - he'll surely take enough out on the ITT to clear Voeckler; these last few finishes are surely a signal towards who's strong for the time trials.

I think it has to be down to the Schlecks to really attack on the last couple of big mountain stages now, as they don't have the legs on the flat.
