O'Sullivan rounds off Selby with 147 in the decider of the UK Championship semi-final. Mildly amusing finish.
Best 147 ever there saying...dunno myself but 1 heck of a way to end a game.
8-0 up now at the break in the final.Simply awesome

Masters underway. Awesome to see that **** O'Sullivan fall at the first hurdle. Even better for him to not go into sulk mode for once.

World Championships going on here. Some close games thus far and 3 previous champs out (Dott, Davis and Doherty)

Round 2 as follows:
John Higgins (Sco) v Ryan Day (Wal)
Ding Junhui (Chn) v Stephen Hendry (Sco)
Ronnie O'Sullivan (Eng) v Mark Williams (Wal)
Joe Swail (NI) v Liang Wenbo (Chn)
Shaun Murphy (Eng) v Ali Carter (Eng)
Mark King (Eng) v Peter Ebdon (Eng)
Neil Robertson (Aus) v Stephen Maguire (Sco)
Stuart Bingham (Eng) v Joe Perry (Eng)

Joe Swail ftw.

Day's beaten an off-colour and annoyed Higgins, in a match without a single ton
Carter swept the floor with Murphy (yay)
Maguire is on top form and took the first eight frames against Robertson, including a 131 and a 110 (still the best on offer by far. Six 50+ scores in a row.)
O'Sullivan leads Williams 5-3 despite a couple of nice 80s by the Welshman
Hendry completed the rout of Ding

Think that was it. Will go out on a limb and predict semis

Hendry v O'Sullivan
Ebdon v Maguire

Another 147 for O'Sullivan, taking Williams by 13-7, and 21-year-old Liang from Heilongjiang in Northeast China wins his sixth match in a row with 13-12 over the last representative of the Emerald Isle. Nearly chucked away 12-8, last frame total chaos.

Go Liang. :)

Hmm Swail not happy with the way the balls were replaced on that yellow. He definitely could see the yellow, he could just see a fraction more after they were replaced (typical of Alan Chamberlain not to bother using technology - I do hate technophobes). But in the first place it shouldn't have been a miss (Liang was 27 ahead with 27 remaining, so you'd only call a miss in exceptional circumstances) but Swail was quite happy to accept that one. Bit of a shame really.

Great match that was. Bit gutted for Joe, was one of those matches you didn't want to see either losing, but hey that's sports.

Hehe @ Rocket against Hendry.

Ronnie has won 11 frames in a row (and counting) - gone from 4-1 down to 12-4 up.
