2007 Cricketweb Fantasy Tennis Competition

Pretty much the same as the 2005 competition. If anyone has any ideas to improve the game let me know and ill consider them. as it stands these are the rules, First tournament will be the Australian open so you'll have until 10am Monday Melbourne time to get your teams in or they wont score points until after the open.

Fantasy Tennis Rules...

You Must pick from each group
* Gold 1-3 players
* Silver 2-4 players
* Bronze 3-6 players
* Plate 4-7 players

- You may only pick 2 "Star" players
- You Must have exactly 15 players
- Salary cap is $35,000,000
- You can make 1 Free change each month (you must remain under the salary) and 3 Free Changes in the following week after a Grand Slam.
- Entries for the competition will be open all year, however you will only start scoring prize money for the week after you submit your team.
- The competition will begin on January 15th.

- Point scoring will be as follows for Gold/International series events:
* 1st round loss $5,000
* 2nd round loss $20,000
* 3rd round loss $35,000 (in a 64 man field)
* Quarter Final loss $50,000
* Semi Final loss $100,000
* Runner Up $175,000
* Tournament Winner $325,000

For Masters Series Events:
* 1st round loss $10,000
* 2nd round loss $50,000
* 3rd round loss $75,000 (4th $125,000)
* Quarter Final loss $150,000
* Semi Final loss $225,000
* Runner Up $400,000
* Tournament Winner $600,000

For Grand Slam Events:
* 1st round loss $15,000
* 2nd round loss $75,000
* 3rd round loss $100,000
* 4th round loss $250,000
* Quarter Final loss $400,000
* Semi Final loss $650,000
* Runner Up $800,000
* Tournament Winner $1,000,000

When picking your team please include a team name, all players, their value and the total value of your side.

sorry mate, i changed it from 14 players to 15 players after i originally posted, the reason for this is so hopefully people will pick a lot of different players, one of y major concerns in 2005 was that most of the team had a very similar 9 or 10 players which was pretty annoying...

Bah, had it all carefully worked out etc.
You should have seen the team i picked when i thought it was only $30

haha, first time i picked mine for some reason i thought it was 34m, so had an extra 1m to spend...
with only 30m it'd have to be a pretty awful team!

naa, its basically just the top players in each of the groups, limiting people to a maximum of two stops everyone from stacking their team with the best players...
