What's this thing all about and how is it different from the other thing I signed up for. Is there any need for an aging fast bowler?

To make it as simple as possible because it took me ages to figure out myself, this you take part in as a player in teams made up with other members from CW and the other one 'World Club Cricket' you manage a team. I need your msn if you have it as well as your my 2nd XI for Auckland.

Messenger where my ID is HeathDavisSpeed@yahoo.co.nz or somesuch (not sure whether you need the .co.nz stuff or not) and I can chat with other MSN users over Yahoo! If that doesn't work, let me know. I'm not too hot on these computer things, not since I upgraded from my old Dragon 64k anyway.

I don't think there's that much to discuss tbh, we can probably do most of it through email anyways.

No problem. Up to you mate. I will require a fair deal of guidance I would warn you. I will be warming up my bowling shoulders for some coaching sessions down the nets though. Get those young tearaways pelting the ball down!!!

Haha. Oh, I forgot to say, sign up for CWXI here btw. Then you'll be allocated a dev league side (from Black, Blue, Red, Green and Colts) and play in grade cricket when not selected in your sides top XI there. There's also a national side.

Thanks for that. After a few years in the wilderness, Heath is gonna be making a comeback. I can see this one making the back page headlines.

Oooh. Go on then, make me 25. I feel ten years younger as it is, so why not be ten years younger?

Why do you say I've been overly realistic? You think it unlikely that I'll be making the first eleven with those stats? My strike rate compares not too badly with Curtly Ambrose I'll have you know. And my batting is quite ****e.

Depends a bit on the player, obviously. There's no hard and fast rules simply because most players have retired before it's an issue. Malone's 38, btw.
