Excuses, Excuses and more excuses. In the world cup it was D/N matches, In the Asia Cup it was the point system, and now in the Videocon cup it was Shepherd and ICC it would be something else. Why cant people accept that they were not good enough ?? Australia won it fair and square.Congratulations to them.

Well said, Sanz.

There are those who just cannot accept defeat - there always has to be an excuse, a reason, mitigating circumstances.

This crap about Shepherd is really over the top, and IMO, really sad (for Shepherd as much as for the asswagons alleging that he's "biased" against Pakistan or that he's taken money). Nobody is contesting that he screwed up those two decisions, but the allegation that he's corrupt is offensive in the extreme. Anybody making this allegation based on two friggin' decisions is a d_ckhead.

Also, it's a mickey mouse tournament, people, only designed to promote cricket in the Netherlands. Go insane over something more meaningful.

Still One Day internationals, whether played in the Netherlands, Sharjah, or Jupiter for that matter...

I'm not saying they're not - but the outpouring of grief and hatred directed at Shepherd is way out of proportion to the importance of the match.

hey guys we are only saying that he made two mistakes but he is only human.I dont know why people go over the top and say he fixes matches. But at the end of the day pakistan lost and they threw the game away even if they were very bad mistakes by the umpire
