He'll be the 4th frontline bowler so it's going to be an interesting balance, isn't it?

Sorry for leaking out the question paper but it will definitely be Stokes at 5 and Buttler at 6, so Flintoff will bat at 7 or 8 depending on who the other person is.

Despite being superb in this tournament I can't see a place for Stokes. With a keeper at 6 and Root's spin at 3, they'd be better of with a specialist batsman at 5. If you want a few overs pick Collingwood at 5.

Well he usually bowled 1st or 2nd change anyway, so it doesn't matter too much.

There may be a case for all of Flintoff, Botham and Stokes in the team.

I'm aware of that so I want to keep voting flexible if I can.

If Flintoff doesn’t bat top 5 then he doesn’t get in the team IMO.
He's got a better bowling average, SR and econ than Gough and Willis (apart from Willis having a slightly better ER).

There would be no issue with him batting at 7 or 8, it's only going to make the team stronger.
