"There has always been a thought that Australian players don't like it when other captains stand up to them. They like to make fun of a Mike Brearley or a Jeremy Coney, but put a Sourav Ganguly or an Arjuna Ranatunga in front of them - someone who stands up and mouths off -and they hate it." - Jarrod Kimber
Fantastic achievement Bangladesh.
Agree with some of the other comments here that the path to a competitive cricket side, especially in tests, seems to depends as much as the development of a culture over time as it does on number of matches played. So it's no surprise that they don't experience much success until the team is made from players who were watching the game as young kids in 2000, when the country was first given Test Status, and have then grown up with that in mind.
Want to be the online Don Bradman or Ian Salisbury?
Then join CW Cricket today. It's what all the cool kids desire.

Well done Bangladesh. They've built solidly for a few seasons, they are still a slightly overrated ODI side but their Test side is coming on. Reckon they are stronger than the Windies now and on a par with Sri Lanka.
Thats 82 runs on the last day against Herath and co though. Not quite a walk in the park.
took a 100 tests in coming but a very meaningful victory.
well played bangers
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW
Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta
The wins are coming more frequently for them, let's hope that they settle into a groove and give the world some quality Test match cricket.
