Unofficial quota is 4, So Amla, Tahir, Duminy, Rabada. Phangiso, already gave us 5.

So quota players don't have to be "black" per se?
Just as long as they're not white? Honestly didn't know that.

The unofficial unofficial quota is at least one 'black' player... however there is pressure been put on that as well. Particularly since Ntini retired and there has not been any black players consistently in the SA team... Rabada is a big deal on many fronts for SA. Lots of pressure on him.

As Rossouw is a proper Dutch name, it is by definition a cool name. Obviously, Sri Lankans with proper Dutch names are even better!

Faf broken finger from IPL, only available from 2nd/3rd match onward... Morris is our number 7, he should be at 8 but SA can only do that if Parnell plays and we drop Abbott. We unfortunately need two spinners in the sub-continent of WI. Gone are the days of SA batting to 10. To be honest yesterdays loss of 28/6 is not unexpected SA's 8-11 are pretty much all 10/11's. Top 6 (or 5 if Berhardien is playing) must do 95% of the work else we will always be below par.

Second that mate.
Morris has given slim hope that he could be a good lower order batsman for Proteas in long run but apart from that South Africa's batting from no.6 and below has become a joke for a year or so.

His action looked pretty iffy to me tbh. I don't know if the action he was using in-game was close enough to whatever he was using when getting tested for him to get away without any issues, but it definitely wasn't a "classic" action

David Warner, Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja, Steve Smith (capt), Glenn Maxwell, Mitch Marsh, Matthew Wade, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood, Scott Boland, Nathan Lyon (12th man yet to be named).
You would think Boland would carry the drinks since the pitch will suit the spinners. The players left out from the squad are Faulkner, Bailey, Coulter-Nile (behind Boland is interesting) and Head. I hope Head gets a game or two this series, he can also bowl a few overs of spin.
