Sri Lanka can claim the extra half an hour if they think it'll allow them to wrap up the game can't they?
No, I think that is only on day three or four. Basically they an allotted number of overs for day five and if there are interruptions they can play thirty mins. beyond stumps to make up for the time.

Because SL has got through its overs very quickly they don't have to worry about bowling fifteen in the last hour to secure the allotted number of overs. They make a big deal of it when there has been time wasting and the over rate is slow. The fifteen in the last hour is there to stop the procrastinating but Lanka has bowled as many as is humanly possible today.

Duminy gone. Surprised they have upped the overs as they said yesterday that there was a minimum of 98 to be bowled and they were only five short of that.

Based on his career stats (SR of 44.63 and average of 38) JP Duminy faces and average 85 balls per dismissal, which should be 170 for the match.

Clearly he has underperformed.

Mendis looked threatening the one time he bowled offspin after Sanga asked him to actually try spinning.. then reverts to bowl carrom balls constantly again..

Hugely disappointing test for him - no control, barely any spin while the other 2 spinners make merry. Should lose his Test place permanently to Dilruwan after this of course. Sad considering the potential he had.

He's faced 2731 balls in 40 innings up until this match, which equates to 68.27 per innings played. So he's about on par.
