What is his best format? Who could you compare him to by the way he plays?

Certainly first class cricket as his big strengths are his temperament, defensive technique and maturity. He probably needs to work on his boundary hitting (which should improve as he gets bigger, he is still quite a slight kid as things stand). He drew comparisons to Trott on debut due to his strong legside play.

Interesting to note he is the Bears youngest ever centurion. Beating Bell by 80 odd days.

Stunning ton from Barks as well, really put us in the driving seat after Woakes 3 wickets.

Thanks for that, will be interesting to see how he develops, would like to see him myself but I cant see us (Kent) getting out of division 2 for a long time, unless you guys do the decent thing and come down here for a season.
