Dont see how kids can watch it, they are at school!
It was school holidays. And Monday was a public holiday.
Hardly a factor when its only 4 matches that kids can watch.
It is when the whole tournament is so short. And there are weekend games as well. But they should have 2 televised games every weekend you'd think. Don't know why they don't??
Maybe the grounds are used for grade cricket? if so, poor stuff from CA. Should be 2 matches on weekend, or at least one. This weekend there is one, i think. Also, there are days when 2 matches are being played simultaneously mid week.
They're all day games. The day nighters last season like on a wednesday arvo were perfect time for starting watching at like 230 and finishing by about 9. They're the ones kids can watch.
The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.
Day games on weekends, particularly Saturday, are the worst of the lot. The people who would be interested in watching will be the ones who are out all day actually playing.
It would be better if they were day/night games that you could watch after school/work. But that's another downside of playing on grade grounds I guess. Poorly thought out and the rationalisation for the decisions even more poorly thought out. If the reasons they've stated are the best they can come up with they'd might as well just come out and say "we don't care about the National team or long-term growth of Australian cricket we just want as much money from the Big Bash as possible".

Horrendous shot that one. Gifted a wicket to Rose.
didn't realise it has started. what happened?
Why did Andrew McDonald move to South Australia?
McDonald casually danced down, got nowhere near the ball, tried the flick to leg from outside off, stumped by a mile.
Well with Botha soon to be out he would be sure of that.It would have been part of the deal for sure. Also he plays for the Strikers, maybe his borther will get a Big Bash deal.
