The issue is that the BCCI genuinely wanted a home series to be arranged around these two tours of RSA and NZ and it looks like CSA did not even come talk to them. As I said, there is fault at both sides. CSA never went to BCCI to OK the itinery and things just seem to have spiralled from there, given the obvious issues BCCI seem to have with Lorgat at the helm.
We miss you, Fardin. :(. RIP.

Captain fittingly smashing the runs in Afghan style.
Yeah deserves a thread.

Sri Lanka Board XI v Sri Lanka Cricket Development XI at Colombo (PSS), Oct 8-11, 2013 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo
I think it's either stumps or almost stumps now, this series was organised by the SL board to make up for the Zim tests that got cancelled, looks like Sanga and Kaushal Silva had a day out while Eranga (as I thought) was the only decent bowler. I'll be interested to see how Thirramanne goes with the bat as the only international batsman in the development squad. Also hoping PJ and Matthews go on to score fairly big tomorrow
According to Cricinfo Lahiru Gamage is Right-arm slow-medium. Does that mean slower than medium?
The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.
This epitomises what Vaas was complaining about when he called SL fast bowlers "soft" I guess.
Kaushal Silva apparently averaging about 80 in FC cricket in the last few months which includes some 'A' tours, he probably ought to get the nod to play in the UAE
Sachin Tendulkar is going to retire after his 200th Test.
Daniel Brettig: "Siddle is the vital glue for a bowling attack that needs experience and consistency to balance the talent of Hazlewood, Starc, James Pattinson and Pat Cummins. Hopefully Lehmann and company will now remember this"
i see what you did there
