Wow, Wally Grout and Bob Simpson debuted together....for some reason I thought they played in different decades (not counting Simpsons return during WSC)
Michael Vaughan and Chris Adams debuted together, and met each other at the crease with the score on 2-4 (two runs, four wickets).
Some great/very good debutants together:
1. Sachin Tendulkar and Waqar Younis
2. Viv Richards and Gordon Greenidge
3. Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly
"I want to raise my hand and say one thing. Those who complain about my love for the game or commitment to the game are clueless. These are the only 2 areas where I give myself 100 out of 100."
- Sachin Tendulkar, as told in an interview published in Bengali newspaper Anandabazar Patrika after his 100th International century (translated by weldone)
WWCC - Loyaulte Mi Lie
"People make me happy.. not places.. people"
"When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life." - Samuel Johnson
"Oh my God, there's a castle! A castle!"
A devastating West indies bowling debut
Colin Croft and Joel Garner vs Pak in Bridgetown 1976/77
Croft took 7 and Garner 6 in a side that included Andy Roberts in his prime (he took 4 and a part time spinner took the other 3)

NZ debut with a twist
Dayle Hadlee and Hedley Howarth debuted together in 1969 before their more famous brothers Richard and Geoff debuted individually in the 70's
Hick and Ramprakash against WI in 1991. Obviously not ATGs but oddly similar careers.
Did Lillee and Greg Chappell debut together against England in 1970/71? Or possibly Rod Marsh? Maybe not quite , but I cba to check.
