I hope Watson and Warner both play. I made note of the venue in my previous post as its convenient that the Shield match is being played in the same city as the First Test. |

That's it.
Cricinfo: As for Clarke, the match ends a brief but productive stint as NSW captain, with the Blues not engaging in another Shield fixture until the week before the first Test. Clarke will now undergo a personal "boot camp" to get his fitness up to the level required for Tests, before making a rare club appearance for Western Suburbs in Sydney grade competition. |

He might just bat in the match. What I'd do, anyway.
Oh, and Patto.

Looked like a very dodgy LBW to get rid of Rogers at the WACA.
Loving the live stream, am hoping to record every ball they show for every match.

Has the # 6 position become the WK slot in Shield?
Haddin, Paine & Handscomb so far this year? Edit: Is Finch injured as Handscomb now batting at 5? Last edited by aussie tragic; 30-09-2012 at 02:36 AM. |

Handscomb is batsmen who keeps, so it not surprising he bats in the top 6. If the other keepers could bat better, they would probably be batting at 6, unless the side has a batting all rounder.

Such a dominate day 1 for the Vics. Love how McDonald murders state attacks these days.
WA are still SO frustrating, Mitch Marsh has the 9th highest first class batting average in the team and has a lower bowling average than Johnson, Rimmington and Hogan. Not sure he is the answer at 6 just yet. |

I think so. Just found it crazy that he's got the 9th best average in the team.
Cricinfo currently has Colin Miller's stats for Brockley's mate Sammy. Think he and SA would take Colin's bowling record. |
